Auckland's North West Wine, Beer and Food Festival Is Finally Coming Back in February
Enjoy homegrown tunes while sampling offerings from local restaurants, vineyards and breweries.
Love good tunes, good food and some damn good beer and wine? Of course you do. Well, great news — the North West Wine, Beer and Food Festival is making its hotly anticipated post-COVID return in February, ready to showcase some of the best eats and drinks of the region.
Looking to debunk the myth that Auckland isn't a bonafide wine region, the beverage lineup will be entirely local with wine from the likes of Coopers Creek, The Hunting Lodge, Kumeu River and West Brook Winery to name just a few.
If wine isn't your thing, refreshing brews from Hallertau and Liberty will also be present, as well as kombucha from Mama's Brew Shop for those choosing to abstain. An array of local food vendors will ensure your appetite is fully satiated — Morepork BBQ, the Hunting Lodge and Michael van De Elzen's Good From Scratch will be on the tools.
No food and wine festival is complete without great entertainment and this year's musical lineup features local hitmakers Tami Neilson, Troy Kingi, Hollie Smith and Georgia Lines.
As with other years, the festival will have a kid's zone, making it a family-friendly event, as well as a plush new VIP section. Tickets are on sale now, along with return bus tickets available from Auckland CBD, Muriwai, Helensville, Kumeu and Riverhead for $20. Free parking will be available on the day.
The North West Wine, Beer and Food Festival will take place at the Hunting Lodge in Waimauku on Sunday, February 11. Tickets are on sale now.
