JW Marriott Auckland Has Revealed 40 New Renovated Luxury Rooms — and You Can Be One of the First Guests

Auckland's JW Marriott has officially opened 40 refreshed luxury rooms, the first step of many in the hotel's detailed renovation plans.

The new rooms draw on the natural elements of Aotearoa to create a luxury space with nature-themed art lining the walls, along with the deep wood colour palette is perfect for a guest craving an tranquil oasis in the middle of Tāmaki Makaurau's city centre.

The JW Marriott are inviting you to be one of the first guests in these beautifully refreshed rooms with the Elevate and Rejuvenate package with a king bed. The rooms will be available to book from Monday, March 25 until Thursday, May 9, with rates starting from $439 per night.

In addition to their stay and access to the hotels' indoor pool and sauna, guests will receive 5000 Marriott Bonvoy loyalty points to be used at Marriott hotels across the globe, giving guests access to other exclusive stays and discounts.

JW Marriott Auckland General Manager Girish Talreja said the team was thrilled to officially open the first 40 refreshed rooms, allowing their guests to experience a small sneak peek on what else is to come. "Our renewed concept allows for mindful travellers to nourish their body and soul and connect with the beauty that Auckland's city has to offer," Talreja said.

While unveiling 40 brand-new rooms is no small feat, this milestone is only a tiny piece of JW Marriott's makeover plans.

As of November 2024, the hotel will boast multiple new dining venues to build on the bar and restaurant offering already available in the hotel's lobby. This includes a brasserie with a Kiwi twist and outdoor dining, an exclusive Japanese restaurant flinging around tasty Teppanyaki, as well as two bars.

Throughout the rest of 2024, the hotel will be sprucing up the remaining 246 rooms, as well as introducing new event and meeting areas.

The JW Marriott Auckland can be found at 22 Albert Street, Auckland CBD. The Enjoy and Rejuvenate package is available to book now, with stays available from Tuesday March 25–Thursday May 9. Bookings are to be made by Tuesday, April 30 and can be done on the hotel's website.
